Cabinetry lead time is usually the long pole — plan on six to twelve weeks for semi-custom and longer for fully custom. We order cabinets before demolition so the crew is not waiting on a delivery with your kitchen torn out.

Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?

If you are replacing cabinets and counters in place, often not. As soon as you move plumbing, add or relocate electrical circuits, change a window or door opening, or take out a wall, you do. We pull the permit and carry the inspections.

Can you match a new kitchen to the rest of an older house?

Yes, and it is worth doing. Casing profiles, base height, floor transitions, and ceiling detail are what tie a new kitchen back into an original house. It is a small share of the budget and the first thing people notice when it is skipped.
