Waterproofing is the whole job
Everything visible in a bathroom sits on top of a waterproofing assembly you will never see. Pan slope, curb and bench detailing, membrane at the corners, and proper substrate are what separate a shower that lasts twenty years from one that fails in five. It is the part of the bid worth comparing line by line.
Tub-to-shower conversions
A curbless or low-curb walk-in shower makes a small bath feel twice as large and ages far better than a drop-in tub. Where the drain has to move, we cut and re-plumb rather than build the floor up around it.
Ventilation, light, and storage
Right-sized exhaust fans ducted to the exterior, a skylight or solar tube where there is no exterior wall to work with, recessed medicine cabinets, and vanity storage sized to what you actually keep on the counter.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A guest bath is typically three to five weeks on site; a primary suite that moves fixtures and reworks the layout runs six to ten. Tile and stone lead times and the inspection schedule drive most of the variance.
Is a curbless shower possible in an existing house?
Usually, though it depends on the floor structure. On a raised-foundation home there is generally room to recess the pan between joists. On a slab it means either a linear drain with a shallow build-up or cutting the slab — both are doable, and we will tell you which applies after we look under the house.
Do you handle bathroom additions, not just remodels?
Yes. Adding a bathroom means new drain, waste, and vent lines back to the main, added electrical, and usually a permit and inspection cycle. It is a bigger job than a like-for-like remodel, and we scope it that way.
